  • Make sure you fill out the application in its entirety. Applications missing information, including requested letters, will be returned to be completed.
  • Only include necessary materials there is no need to add photos, videos, etc., they will just be discarded.
  • Remember scholarship aid is based on financial need only, talent is not a factor.
  • Apixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp registration applications and payments will be returned. We do not want to assume that we can provide enough funding for your child to attend and consequently do not want to tie up your money, which would be subject to cancellation policies.
  • If you are 100% sure that you will have the funding to register your child for camp regardless of scholarship funding, send the registration form with payment separately and it will be processed.
  • NOTE: Scholarships may not be available for every week of camp. Registering your child for a specific week of camp before scholarships are awarded will not guarantee funding assistance for that specific week.
  • Apixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp will not consider scholarship assistance for multi-week stays.
  • The Apixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp Scholarship funds goal is to assist in getting as many underpriveledged children to Apixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp as possible.
  • If you have multiple children applying for scholarships, apply for each independently and remember to include all required materials for EACH child.

little chef imageApixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp Scholarships are decided on a need-based; decisions are not based on talent or achievement of the camper. The more detailed you are regarding your financial situation and/or need for financial aid, the faster the scholarship committee will have the ability to assess your application. If you or your child have put aside funds for camp, don’t hesitate to tell us about it in your letters. Your child’s letter should discuss his or her passion for cooking and how s/he believes attending Apixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp will help him/her to achieve his/her goals.

Please keep in mind that limited funds are available and scholarships are awarded in various amounts; not all scholarships will cover the entire tuition and travel expenses to and from camp are not included in awards.

You will be notified via regular U.S. mail if your child is awarded a Apixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp Scholarship.

Application review begins in March and applications received after the first round of reviews in March will be considered within 2 to 4 weeks after they are received. We will continue reviewing applications until all award funding has been distributed. The sooner apply, the better your chance of receiving a scholarship. Please keep in mind that we will receive more applications than we will be able to award and we will do our best to choose the most needy and deserving applicants. After The Apixius Little Chefs and Apixius Teens Chefs Cooking Camp Scholarship Fund contacts you to inform you you are being granted a scholarship you will be given a deadline to accept your award; if we do not get your registration form by that deadline, we will assume the award has been rejected so be sure to contact us ASAP!
